Keene's Walking Tour 2022
Keene gave a tour of Historic Chevy Chase, DC! Over 60 folks took the HCCDC Waking Tour proceeding Chevy Chase Day this past Saturday. Guided by Keene, they learned about the history and architecture of Chevy Chase DC, starting at the Avalon Theatre. He talked about the community’s development in the early 20th Century, existing and proposed landmarked structures as well as examples of the wide variety of architectural styles that make Chevy Chase DC so distinctive.

The word sabbatical has a new meaning! This is the new 2.0 version of work life balance. Giostra! Sunday was the Giostra del Saracino here in Arezzo. It’s basically a jousting skills competition where knights on horseback speed through Piazza Grande with the goal of striking a target held by Burratto - a Saracen mannequin.
